Lovely part of Wellington forest, trail is in good condition, and plenty of bathroom facilities along the trail. The climb up the hill was through a pretty spectacular part of the forest.

Great trail for beginner to intermediate. Will require a bit of climbing if you want to head down to the river at the rapids area around 2km from Wellington Dam. Certain areas of the trail are overgrown so bring long trousers in the summer months.

Nice quiet walk through the forest. Share trail with mountain biking but didn’t see any. Walk across Wellington Dam. Spectacular is all I can say.

Awesome hike through the forest. Several trails to choose from. Most shared with mountain bikes but not a problem. Water was low do to dry conditions but the Wellington Dam was spectacular.

We parked at the Wellington Dam and took the trail anticlockwise. It was a really lovely trail, there is one section where you walk along the road a little bit (maybe 15 mins) but then if you keep following the map on AllTrails app it will take you the whole way back to the dam along the road. Dont do that, just jump on the Munda Biddi trail which runs along the Collie River. I would have been very disappointed if I had walked down Lenard Road for 6kms instead of using the beautiful trail alongside. There’s pretty good signage and a few different trails that all come off each other so you can adjust this walk to suit your fitness level or the length you would like to do.

Took longer than intended as quite a few hills. A good chunk of the trail has a lot of overgrowth of prickly bush on to path. Need to be well hydrated. Path is 9.9km, phone died half way. Completed hike with a pretty dam good snag at the kiosk cafe at the end of the trail at Wellington Dam.
