Best trails in Wellington National Park
Wellington National Park is located in the Shire of Collie in Western Australia. Its landscape consists of hills and jarrah, marri and yarri forests that are crossed by the Collie River valley. It is thus a great place to hike, swim, raft, canoe, fish and camp.

- (180)•Moderate•7.5 mi•Est. 3–3.5 hrThe Jabitj Trail is a lovely meandering track following the Collie River as it makes it's way from the Wellington Dam and down to Honeymoon Pool. This is an easy to follow trail with plenty of signage to keep you on track as you take your time checking out the endless pools along the way. Don't forget your swimmers as you'll have plenty of options to take a dip along the way.
- (96)•Moderate•6.5 mi•Est. 2.5–3 hrThe Sika Trail is mostly well signposted and features mainly old gently undulating forestry tracks extending through the shady Jarrah/Marri forest which makes it quite shady. There is a section of nice, loamy single track which extends between the kiosk and past the Potters Gorge campground. The trail can be walked/cycled in either direction. Don't forget your swimmers for a dip at the dam and remember to take plenty of water.

Kurliiny Tjenangitj means "come and see" in the Noongar language. There is a beautiful viewpoint over the Collie River along the way. Wildflowers are abundant in the spring and it's always nice to be able to dip into Honeymoon Pool before and after the walk. There is also plenty of birdlife in the area.

This out and back loop begins and ends from the Wellington Dam Lookout, where parking and picnic facilities are available. Enjoy the new artwork on the dam before making your way through the trees up to Potter Gorge camping area on Tom Jones Drive. Return along the sandy banks of Wellington Reservoir then back onto the Sika Trail.

This lovely, flat path winds through the town and into the surrounding Jarrah forest, offering great water views. It's a fantastic walk for the whole family and is perfect for a gentle bike ride. Keep an eye out for water birds on the river and kangaroos in the bush.

This looped route begins and ends near Honeymoon Pool off River Road, where parking is available. The trail itself features half bitumen road and half dirt walking tracks. Good spot by the water to have a picnic and enjoy before making the return loop.

This out and back route begins and ends from the Wellington Dam parking area off Wellington Dam Road. Follow the Jabitl (Running Water) Trail alongside the Collie River before making a loop up to some great lookout points and onto the Munda Bindi Trail to loop you back to Jabitl.

The Lennard Half Circuit starts at the Mt Lennard Trailhead and connects with the Lennard Full Circuit before returning to the Trailhead. Pack a snack and stop to admire the beautiful Collie River Valley and the extensive Jarrah forest. Can also be used as a return ride from other trails in the network such as Wals.

These trails are intermediate/moderate in difficulty and make for a fantastic ride. Grizzly Trail is the highlight of the area without doubt, get on it!
