Not crowdedGreat views

Mount Frankland Summit and Wilderness Lookout. Two great short walks from the 1 carpark. Yes they are a bit out of the way but upside is you often have the place to yourself or just a few others. Spectacular drive in either from Walpole or Beardmore road through the Karri Forrest, with a few good spots worth stopping on Beardmore Road. Steep bitumen walkway and 300+ stone steps and ladders to the top but been there twice now and left thinking of how soon i can make it back a third time. Wilderness walk is an extremely easy, flat walk of just a few hundred metres but worthwhile, albeit, not as good views as your rewarded with on the way to the summit. Some Bbqs, drop toilets and large shelter at carpark.
