A lovely trail through the Lesueur National Park, located on the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, not too far from the town of Jurien Bay. The trail begins from the parking area at the end of Lesueur National Park Drive, where bathroom facilities are available.
The trail itself is well sign posted and is relatively flat until you make the rocky climb up Mount Lesueur (313m). Enjoy the view from the top before making your way back down and back to the car park. Enjoy the diversity of...

The Yonga Trail in Lesueur National Park is a wonderful two-day hike exploring the greater areas of the park. Fit and fast walkers or runners can tackle the whole route in a single day, but most will want to enjoy their time exploring the vast woodlands and rolling hills by staying a single night at the Yonga Campground. Bookings are essential for the campground and are limited, so interested parties should book well in advance through the park stay website -...

Trail reviews for Lesueur National Park
The walk up to Mt Lesueur was a little steep in one place, but this was made easy with switchbacks. At the top you walk through a forest of banksias across the plateau to the trig point and view of the ocean. Gairdner trail was easy to add at the end. You could do the walk in 90 minutes, but I stopped to take photos of the amazing wild flowers. Also saw eagles, a lizard and small snake.
