This is a great hike in the Fitzgerald River National Park, not too far from the town of Hopetoun on the south coast of Western Australia in the Shire of Ravensthorpe. Parking is available at the trailhead, just off Hamersley Drive.
This is a short and challenging trail up to the summit of Mount Barren. Along the way there are magnificent flora assemblages and geological formations and incredible views. Some challenging areas with loose pebbles. Keep an eye out for skinks!

West Mount Barren offers an enjoyable trail through the Fitzgerald River National Park, located on the south west coast of Western Australia - not too far from Bremer Bay. This out and back route begins and ends from the end of West Mount Barren Lookout Road, where parking is available.
This is a great little scramble to the summit (323m) where you'll be rewarded with stunning views out over to the ocean and surrounds.
