D'Entrecasteaux National Park is located on the coast of Western Australia on the land of the Bibbulman people. It was named after Bruni D'Entrecasteaux, French admiral and first European to discover the area. It is a narrow strip of land which landscape consists of beaches, sand dunes, heathlands, lakes and swamps that are home to possums, wallabies and bandicoots, though if you are lucky you may spot whales in the ocean.

This is a fantastic short and slightly challenging hike up to Mount Chadalup summit. This scenic walk really gives you bang for buck but does require a bit of a climb up to the top.
The route up is a mixture of trail and boardwalk which is easy going and well maintained. Leaving early in the morn to catch the sunrise is one of the best times to experience the view form the top.

Coastal Survivors Walk is a twisty trail that winds through the dunes and cliffs of D'Entrecasteaux National Park on the south coast of Western Australia. Parking is available at the trailhead, near the Windy Harbour Lighthouse at D’Entrecasteaux Point.
The trails are well signposted and feature lots of information boards along the way describing the geological and botanical histories.

The trail known as Cliff Top Walk provides a round trip for hikers from Point D'Entrecasteaux to Tookulup. Along a winding path that takes you away from the parking area, visitors can enjoy unobstructed views of the steep cliffs and limestone that plunge into the vast Southern Ocean.

Departing from Mandalay Beach this route follows the famous Bibbulmun Track across D'Entrecasteaux National Park and Walpole-Nornalup National Park to the Mount Clare campsite and nearby car park.
The track varies from the initial beach walk section to open scrub and coastal heathlands. This walk can be completed in a single day but some may want to take their time and overnight camp at Long Point campsite or Mount Clare campsite if planning on returning to Mandalay Beach.

This is a great little trail within D'Entrecasteaux National Park, located about 22 kilometres north west of Walpole. This out and back route begins and ends from the Mount Pingerup car park, just off the South Western Highway.
From the summit you'll be rewarded with spectacular views of Broke Inlet, the Southern Ocean and surrounding National Park. This is a beautiful trail to do during Spring, when there are amazing wildflowers blooming in the area including orchids.
