This is a difficult walk through Mount Cook National Park, near Cooktown in the northern tip of the Queensland east coast. The trail has minimal directional markers, loose slippery surfaces and several very steep sections.
A reasonable level of fitness and navigational skills are required. The first section of trail is relatively moderate ascending to Mungurru lookout near 1km where the views are incredible!
