It was a lovely little hike this weekend. We made our way to Curtis Falls and then did the Lower Creek Circuit. It worked out being exactly 3km.

Absolutely amazing views.. relatively easy going and plenty of wildlife. Highly recommend this hike.

Nice little walk after Brunch.

If you're game, have a hike while it's really raining and you will hear the waterfalls roar.

Good for families with little kids. Expect it to be busy.

Awesome walk, beautiful terrain, waterfalls, definitely doing again.

Easy hike, steep but short! Amazing views of ocean from the top!

Great views, easy track and awesome weather

nice views

Good hike and views, hard on the knees coming down. You can do the circuit to Yabi mountain if keen enough from the top.

The view is incredible

I loved it and treated a girlfriend to the walk for her 40th Bday. But we both had moments of real fear. I think it would be prudent to point out there have been a number of deaths and many air-lifted rescues annually because the rock climbing elements are challenging, slippery and unforgiving with even the slightest mis-step. A small, regular day-pack on your back pulls you off balance on rock faces. Experienced, strong hikers would find this walk moderate. Because of this climbing/scrambling on the sheer face and safety aspect only, it should rated HARD not moderate when it is among “hike” suggestions. Preparation and knowledge is always key to making your personal choice about which hiking trails to do so you don’t become a casualty. Hope this helps.

My husband and I hiked this trail in August and really enjoyed it. It's pretty steep most of the way up, but there were very few other people on the trail and it was a nice way to enjoy the rainforest away from the crowds. The views from the top are gorgeous, but there's only a platform to stand on with no real space for picnicking. My husband and I are regular hikers and were able to finish the trail in just over four hours. We were sore the next day, though!

We also found a great spot for ice cream on our way back home from the hike. Daintree Ice Cream Company makes the ice cream from fruits from their orchard, which means you get some usual flavors (banana and coconut) as well as some more unique, such as soursop and wattle seed.

One word... challenging! My hubby & I did this one to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. I am so glad we didn't drag the kids on this one.

We walked it with the kids. It was a little slippery in places post recent rain. We loved the way the vegetation changed so suddenly, so many times. We even spotted a Lyrebird! A nice, easy Sunday walk.

Great hike, views towards Cairns on the way up and 360 Degree views from the top. Take plenty of water and allow 5hrs return if moderately fit

I would class this as moderate providing your fitness level is good and your knees and ankles are in good shape. The walk to the first lookout half way up is definitely worth it for anyone who enjoys bush walking!

What a journey! Great track for beginners with beautiful views and a rewarding finish!

Beautiful location
