A great family friendly hike in the Millstream Falls National Park in the Tablelands region of Queensland - located near the rural town of Ravenshoe and not too far west of Innisfail.
A short and easy trip not far from from the Kennedy Highway to a nice waterfall and pool. A nice stop to break up a longer drive and stretch the legs and easy enough for all ages and abilities.

Millstream Falls are the widest, single-drop waterfall in Australia. This sealed track leads you through forests of pinktrunked, lemon-scented gums out to a fantastic lookout where you can soak up a stunning view as the water plummets down to The Millstream.
The trail begins from the carpark at the end of Millstream Falls Road, where there are public toilets available.

A circuit walk to Bally Knob, which crosses into Ravenshoe State Forest. You can walk it as a return hike or as a circuit which involves walking back along the road.
The section surrounding Bally Knob outcrop is very overgrown. The grass is waist high with a lot of overgrown bracken fern down the bottom. There are markers on the trees so it's easy enough to navigate through it.
