This is an easy, generally flat walk on a sand-based, well-marked trail that has short, broken rock sections mainly on the small ascents and descents.
The ‘gorge’ that the trail leads to is a creek bed that continues over the edge of the escarpment and the descent to the creek bed is not at all steep, but very gradual. Nevertheless, the walk is pleasant through open mulga woodland and takes only 30 minutes to reach the trail end and another 30 to return.
