A great hike with beautiful views near Herberton, Queensland.
It starts flat along disused rail tracks, then head up to the lovely Carrington Falls. Then straight up about 380 metres along good but poorly marked tracks. The view from Wharton’s lookout is breathtaking. There are sections that can have loose dirt and tiny rocks on track making it unstable underfoot.
