They are both part of the Einasleigh Uplands and Wet Tropics of Queensland bioregions. Their landscape consists of granite outcrops, eucalypt woodland and flowing streams and creeks. They are home to an important wildlife including several threatened species.

This is an easy and well marked trip up to the falls near Mareeba, Queensland. This super short walk has only one tricky section, the scramble up to the pools.
The natural infinity pool at the top is an incredible spot to take photos. If you follow the track around you will get to another swimming spot.
Please remain behind the barriers at all times while enjoying the views. The road to the trailhead is unsealed.
