If you don't feel like walking the whole length of this route it's easy to walk down to Crows Nest Falls and then head back leaving out Koonin Lookout.

Trail reviews for Crows Nest National Park
The Crows Nest Falls hike was an enjoyable experience. The hiking track was easy to negotiate and impressively clean. Although there were many steps along the way, my $25 Kmart shoes handled them without any issues. However, I would recommend wearing better shoes if you plan to venture onto the Koonin Lookout path. This route is notably steeper and has a lot of steps, but the effort is definitely worth it for the breathtaking views. Overall, a wonderful hike that I would gladly do again!
