Honeyeater Walk is a fantastic and challenging hike up to Honeyeater Lookout, which gives some incredible views of the surrounding area.
The route is predominantly uphill as you head to the lookout, so wearing a decent pair of shoes for your trip is essential. Come prepared with food and water for the humid climate. Leaving early in the morning is ideal as you'll beat the midday sun but watch out as the trail can be slippery early in the day.

This circuit is one-way (anti-clockwise) and is suitable for bikes and hiking. The track to the overlook is difficult and twisting, and the hike back to Swamp Bay is much the same. Be sure to drink a lot of water and slip, slop, slap!

This a great family-friendly walk in the beautiful Conway National Park. Pass through vibrant palm trees, enormous strangler figs, and tulip oaks covered in basket ferns as you make your way along the well-maintained track.
There are some stairs along the way, but the short distance keeps things manageable. Keep a keen eye and ear for the sounds of different birds in the mid-story of the forest.
Trail reviews for Conway National Park
Starts going up and doesn’t stop going up for a long time. But, eventually gets flatter with small sections of uphill. I spent a lot of time stopped looking at things (or, catching my breath), and was going to continue on to bloodwood camp. I only went around 500m past the honeyeater turnoff, as it was pretty overgrown / covered in leaf litter / unstable. I have a pretty dodgy knee and it didn’t look friendly for that. (Carrying a 7 kg pack and used hiking poles on the way down) I tried to go around to the start of Conway circuit to add another 10km or so from that direction, but the road access is closed from the rain in Feb still.
