A relatively easy hike on North Stradbroke Island, off the east coast near Brisbane, Queensland. Parking is available off Alfred Martin Way. This route ties together to well-worn trails that are easy to navigate. The Kabul trail is steep but there is nothing to climb over or under, just smooth sand. Easy to walk the entire route in two hours with a short-stop, leave more time if you wish to swim in the lake.

A gorgeous little family friendly walk within the Blue Lake National Park in south east Queensland, located in the north east corner of North Stradbroke Island. This out and back route begins and ends from the corner of Bambara Street and Snapper Street.
The trail itself is mostly flat and features an amazing view of the ocean, a couple of beaches, and a good chance to see dolphins and whales!
