Varied circular hiking trail in the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Saxony.
The hike starts at the parking lot on Schaarweg. Several waterfalls and of course numerous sandstone formations ensure that there is always something new to discover. A lot can be explored on the Kuhstallplateau, where, among other things, the famous, 11 m high rock gate "Kuhstall" is located and the adventurous ladder to heaven can be climbed.
From the cowshed it goes via the Räumichtweg to the Beuthensteig from where the Flößersteig indicates the direction to the starting point. The Flößersteig is one of the oldest nature trails in Saxon Switzerland and a great shady hiking trail even on hot days.
