This hike leads into the rugged rocky world of the left-elbe table mountains in Saxon Switzerland. The trail starts in Gohrisch.
The trail leads along narrow paths and stone steps directly into the rock massif. A particular highlight is climbing through the Falkenschlucht gorge, an extremely narrow and steep crevice where ladders and iron cramps are used to overcome the height difference. From the summit plateau of Gohrisch (448 m), there are sweeping views of Königstein Fortress, the Lilienstein and the Schrammsteine.
