Stage 7 of the "Pfälzer Waldpfad" long-distance hiking trail, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This is the seventh stage of the certified quality path "Palatinate Forest Path", which leads from Kaiserslautern to the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach once through the Palatinate Forest.
The hike begins in the shoe village of Hauenstein. From here it goes through the wonderful landscapes of the Dahner Felsenland, over the mountain ranges of the Winterkirchel and Lachberg to Dahn, where you can end the day with a relaxed stop at a local restaurant. Both Hauenstein and Dahn can be reached by bus and train.
