Popular circular route to the Kalmit and the Hochberg near Sankt Martin, Rhineland-Palatinate.
This circular route connects the Hochberg with the Kalmit. There are several sights along the way, such as the Felsenmeer and the Dichterhain.
The circular route starts between the "Am Stauweiher" bus stop and the car park. From there it goes quite steeply uphill to the Schönsteinfelsen. A detour to the Hochberg with a magnificent view is worthwhile. Continue to St. Ottillia Kreuzweg, where the next ascent awaits over a few hairpin bends in the direction of Kalmithaus. You can stop there (note the opening hours).
The descent is via the Felsenmeer back to the starting point. Due to the ascents and descents, it is advisable to wear sturdy shoes. A certain level of fitness is also an advantage.
