The trail leads from the Klausental Hütte via the summer side to the Hohe Loog. The path has a Mediterranean feel. From the Hohe Loog, the route continues via the Hahnenschritt to the Kalmit. From the Kalmithaus, the trail descends to the next 600 m peak, the Taubenkopf. From the Taubenkopf, the route descends via a narrow path down the winter side to the Klausentaler Hütte.
