This circular hiking trail starts at the Gemündener Maar parking lot in Daun-Gemünden. Along the entire route, there is only one slightly steeper ascent on the way to the Dronketurm tower, from where you have a magnificent view of the surrounding volcanic landscape of the Daun maars.
At the end of this tour, we recommend a detour to the Daun Wildlife Park.
