This route leads across the Franco-German border, through the Dahner Felsenwand, in the Palatinate Forest Nature Park and through the Parc Naturel de Vosges du Nord. As the name suggests, the castle hike leads to seven castles, all of which bear witness to the Middle Ages in the 12th and 13th centuries. But it's not just these highlights that make the tour so special - the varied Palatinate-Alsatian landscape also makes for an unforgettable experience.
The starting point in Nothweiler can be reached by bus. There are also car parking spaces nearby. A climb from the car park leads in the direction of the castles.
