Charming hiking tourwith great views in the Siebengebirge nature park, North Rhine-Westphalia.
This is a very nice trail, with lots of shade and beautiful views of the Rhine and the surrounding area. From the hiking car park "Dicker Stein" it goes through the hilly landscape of the Siebengebirge. In addition to beautiful nature, some historical highlights await you along the way, such as Drachenfels Castle, Drachenburg Castle, Hirschburg Castle and the Rosenau Castle ruins. A nice place to stop is the Rheinterasse restaurant with a wonderful view or the inn (note opening times).
The paths are often quite wide and well signposted. Some steep climbs are to be expected.
