The Siebengebirge Nature Park was founded as the first nature park in North Rhine-Westphalia and is located in the south of the federal state. The nature park encompasses the Cologne Bay, Siebengebirge, Leiser Hügelland, Rheinwesterwälder Vulkanrücken and Asbacher Hochfläche nature areas.
The Siebengebirge Nature Park offers a variety of natural and landscape areas that can be discovered on many hikes. The volcanic landscape is interspersed with quarries, vineyards and orchards.

It goes up and down through a varied landscape. Every kilometre is different, with beautiful scenery and challenging uphill sections. Although the route is challenging, none of the climbs are too steep and none of the descents are brutal. The event is lovingly and personally organised each year by Tri-Power Aegidienberg.
