Römer-Lippe-Route Etappe 1: Detmold - Paderborn

Stage 1 of the Römer-Lippe-Route. Even at the starting point of the first day tour it is worthwhile to linger a little, because in Detmold there is not only the cozy old town and the open-air museum, but also the admirable Hermanns monument, which in the 18th century was even the largest statue in the world. The route continues over the 50 meter high Externsteine to Bad Lippspringe to the source of the Lippe. From here it is only a stone's throw to the stage destination Paderborn.
