Idyllic hiking trail through the Wuhletal valley in Berlin.
The Wuhletalweg leads along the Wuhle from Eiche-Park in Ahrensfelde to where it flows into the Spree in Köpenick. The path runs partly along both banks of the river and shows a surprisingly green side of the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. The northern Wuhletal is now one of the most popular green spaces in north-east Berlin. The valley is perfect for walking, jogging or cycling.
From Landsberger Allee, you pass the 97-metre-high Kienberg. It is worth making a detour to the Kienbergpark and the adjacent Gardens of the World (admission required). The route continues along the foot of the Biesdorfer Höhe to Biesdorf, Kaulsdorf and Köpenick. The route leads across butterfly meadows and Binsengrund, past Wuhleblase and Wuhlesee where the Wuhle reaches the Spree. This is where the Wuhletalweg ends.
