The route starts in Köpenick and first leads through the old town along the Dahme and then up the Spree. Here you hike through beautiful forests and with a little luck you will see a few beavers. As soon as you get to the Müggelsee, follow it to Rübezahl. The path continues past the Teufelssee to the Müggelurm and then to the Großer Müggelberg before returning to the Dahme. It wanders along the Dahme before it takes the arm of the Große Krampe up to Müggelheim. The path leads directly into the forest with pine plantations and smaller undergrowth trees, before it flows into the beautiful beech forest near the Gosenkanal. Ultimately, one crosses the Alt-Spree at Hessenwinkel and follows the Dämeritzsee to Erkner.
