This Waxriessteig leads steeply and challenging (partly wooden steps and wire ropes) from Bad Reichenhall up to the Predigtstuhl. From the Predigtstuhl you can enjoy a fabulous view of the Bad Reichenhaller Land. A detour to the Schlegelmuldenalm is an option. The descent via the Alpgartsteig involves numerous steps, steep stairs and artificial climbing aids. Alternatively, the cable car can be taken back. During the season there is a refreshment stop at the summit.
