The wonderful tour starts directly at Lake Thumsee - here is the Alpengasthof, which awaits a stop after the tour. It now goes through the forest and up to the Weißbachschlucht. Some attention is required here, as the route is also popular with mountain bikers. Before heading to the highest point of the hike, it is possible to stop off at the Höllenbachalm. The Alm is open daily between May and October (Tuesday is the day off). The Höllenbachsteig leads back to the starting point.
There is a car park at the starting point and the bus runs nearby to the Thumsee-West stop.
