Point to point
Panoramic hike in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park This great hike starts at the mountain station of the Mittagbahn. Alternatively, you can also start at the valley station, but this lengthens the hike significantly. From the mountain station, the route leads over the Bärenköpfle, Steineberg, Steinköpfle and Stuiben peaks. While the Bärenköpfle is still quite full, the hike becomes increasingly empty the further you walk the ridge to the Stuiben. A special highlight of the hike is the Steineberg ladder, which leads a few meters vertically up and to the summit of the Steineberg. If you don't dare to do this climb, you can also take a short detour to reach the summit. From there, but also from the other peaks, you can enjoy the great views. At the summit of the Stuiben there is also an orientation guide listing the surrounding peaks. In good weather you can even see the Zugspitze from here. On the way you also pass small via ferrata sections, which, however, do not require any equipment or climbing skills. However, sure-footedness is required. The descent leads past the Gund Alpe, where you can refresh yourself on the beautiful sun terrace with a magnificent mountain panorama, before the path leads back into the valley. Shortly before the end of the hike, there is still the option of following the Steigbachtobelweg, which leads past many small waterfalls.
