Stage 3 of the Bodensee-Königssee cycle path at the foot of the Alps.
Right at the beginning of the 3rd stage of the long-distance cycle path, the Allgäu Grünten mountain ridge, also known as the “Guardian of the Alps”, offers a great panorama. It continues through the Wertach Valley to the Gründensee, which invites you to linger. In the further course of the bike tour, two climatic health resorts await you: Oy-Mittelberg and Nesselwang. While in Oy-Mittelberg you can marvel at St. Michael, the highest church in the Allgäu, in Nesselwang it is worth taking a ride on the Alpspitzbahn. Through forests, meadows and fields you finally reach Füssen, which is located on the idyllic Forggensee.
