The circular route is very easy to walk on - only at the Marienburg it is 50 meters very steep downhill. The entire route is located in the core zone of the Bavarian Forest National Park and therefore offers uniquely wild forests and pure nature. In many areas the paths have already been removed and former drainage ditches built back - so that nature can develop freely. Please note - in the core zone there is a compulsory path - no criss-crossing in the forest. A GPS device is highly recommended from the Allmayerschloss - because there are no longer any markings there.
