This fairly easy hike starts at the Dürnbach hiking parking lot. From there, head south towards the Brecherspitz. After crossing the Dürnbach stream, the well-maintained and easy hiking trail starts uphill.
After a while through shady forest, a panorama opens up between Schliersee and Spitzingsee. The trail continues to the alpine pasture including a leisurely stop depending on opening times.
