This is a decent and quite easy hike (not sure why this is a "hard" rating on here) which is definitely a good option for the winter months (though I would recommend other trails for summer that are much better when the snow is gone). We did this in mid March of a very mild winter, so there wasn't any snow until the final one mile push. The views are great, particularly at the "Kanzel" about halfway in. With this being said, I found the reward from the second half of the trail not really worth it. The views won't get better after the "Kanzel," and the remaining trail almost exclusively leads through forests. So in that sense, I wish we had stopped at the "Kanzel" and simply went back.
