Short official hiking trail of the tourism organisation Ammergauer Alpen GmbH to the Kolbensattelhütte from Oberammergau, Bavaria. Start is at the car park on the Kolben in Oberammergau. From there, the route passes below the valley station of the Kolben chairlift until it reaches a path at the edge of the forest. This leads along the idyllic Kolbenbach stream to the Kolben-Alm. The path leads a little further up the mountain. At the crossroads, take the right-hand path for the last few metres to the Kolbensattelhütte.
