From WP at Graswang (880m) SW direction to Linder and at this river downstream to the bridge, turn right direction SO after Dickelschwaig and continue towards Kienjoch. At the junction "Kuhalmstr." Turn right onto the small path and on this soon steeply SW direction through the forest. At 1050m you meet the Forstrasse, which you follow to the left uphill towards Notkarspitze / Kienjoch. At 1320m you leave the Kuhalm left and follow at 1380m at the signpost "Kienjoch" the path right direction SW through sparse forest and over the alpine meadows "In the pits". At about 1600m the path steepens up and it goes in countless hairpin bends up to the saddle (1772m) between Kienjoch (1953m) and Federkopf (1818m). Now up the ridge along the direction NW to the summit cross of Kienjoch (1953m) up. Down like up.
