This spectacular route leads into one of the most impressive Alpine valleys in the Wetterstein mountain range, right at the foot of the Zugspitze. The trail starts at the Höllentalangerhütte and leads through the dramatic Höllentalklamm gorge up to the Riffelköpfen. From there, there is a magnificent view down to the Eibsee. The route descends mostly through the forest to Hammersbach.
