Take the Alpspitzbahn cable car (for a fee) up to the mountain station. From here it goes to the Kreuzeck. You can stop for refreshments at the Kreuzalm and take the Kreuzeckbahn cable car on the way down.
The Alpspix viewing platform is definitely worth a visit. Here you can enjoy an incredible panoramic view of the Höllental valley a thousand meters below.
In spring and fall, the mountain railroads often take a break for maintenance (see "Tips").
