This is a hike with incredible views, beautiful forests and wildflowers along the way.
Starting point is the parking lot Rosengasse (subject to fee). The path climbs relatively steadily and passes many alpine pastures. At the top you will find the Brünnstein chapel. From the Brünnstein summit, the trail continues in a northerly direction to Peterskopf and Paulskopf, which are somewhat higher. Via the Brünnsteinhaus it goes back.
At the beginning it goes over wider cart paths but mainly over small, partly bumpy paths. When wet, the paths can be very muddy and slippery. The short, wire-rope-secured ascent to the summit is somewhat more demanding and requires surefootedness and a head for heights. In winter snow is to be expected, but with the right equipment the trail is still doable.
