The Gamswand is a quiet summit with a beautiful view toward Munich, Chiemgau, and the mountains of the southern Wendelstein area. The route from the Sillberg car park to the Gamswand and back via the Soinsee is partly signposted, but not everywhere! In terms of landscape, the route mainly runs through forests and over alpine meadows. The Schellenberg-Alm or the Niederhofalm provide refreshments along the way.
