An ideal family walk through the Salem monkey enclosure. About 200 Barbary macaques live here in a 20 hectare forest - without cages or fences. Also impressive is the lively herd of fallow deer, a picturesque stork pond with numerous waterfowl and giant carp and a free-flying stork colony. Almost 50 pairs of storks breed on the roofs of the Affenberg every year! After the tour, the cozy courtyard tavern with its beer garden and large adventure playground invites you to linger.
The paths are unpaved. Wheelchair-accessible parking spaces are located in the front area. There are barrier-free toilets in the inn.
