This route mostly follows the Lake Constance circular hiking trail and connects the towns of Überlingen and Friedrichshafen. The route is mostly close to the shore and offers views of the lake and, on a clear day, the Alps on the horizon. Along the way, the route passes through historical sites such as Unteruhldingen with its reconstructed pile dwellings from the Stone and Bronze Ages.
