Charming and family-friendly route in Witten, North Rhine-Westphalia. The route leads from the P9 Ruhr-Gulf parking lot to the Ruhr. The ferry must be used there as a crossing (Attention: Ferry only runs from April to the end of October! Otherwise, detour via Ruhrbrücke Witten (plus approx. 4.5km). Official route.

From Siegen with the beautiful day ticket (33 euros for 5 people) to Wetter / Ruhr. From the train station through the underpass, it goes straight across the street to the Ruhr cycle path. End along the Ruhr meadows over Lake Kemader to Lake Baldeney in Essen. From Essen-Kupferdreh back with the S-Bahn to the main station and from there without changing with the RE 16 back to Siegerland.
