Best trails near Semolina head

This route follows stage 11 of the Maximiliansweg, a long-distance trail through Germany and Austria, beginning in Eschenlohe and ending at the Herzogstandhaus. The path departs Eschenlohe past the historic St. Clemens Church and heads east through the scenic Eschenlaine Valley. It winds along clear mountain streams and through dense forests, bypassing the Ölrain peak before climbing toward the Heimgarten and Herzogstand mountains, where hikers gain views of the Karwendel range and Walchensee...

Very nice quiet hike with a lot of solitude and beautiful landscapes. It can happen that many farmers are out and about to drive away sheep that have grazed wild all summer around the Hirschberg. The summit area can therefore be heavily clogged on the paths.

Demanding circular hike in the Bavarian Prealps south of the Tegernsee. The hiking route begins in Ohlstadt and goes up very steeply, especially in the first 3 kilometers to the Wankhütte. From here it is no longer quite as steep, but on partly stony paths without shade to the summit of the Hirschberg. Especially around the summit you should be sure-footed and free from giddiness.
