Demanding hike in the Chiemgau Alps A beautiful but strenuous hike. It leads over the Steinernen Jäger to the Hohenstaufen, where the Reichenhaller or Staufenhaus literally clings to the rocks of the Hochstaufen. Up to 30 guests can stay up there and (weather permitting) watch a sensational sunset and sunrise. Alternatively, there is another parking lot about 500 m from the starting point.
