Demanding hike to the Hochgernhaus The hike starts at the Hochgern car park near Marquartstein. From here the circular route leads to the Weitalm, where the Enzianhütte, the Moaralm and the Hochgernhaus are located. Here you can enjoy the great panoramic view with a cool drink on the sun terrace. Then you can start the descent well strengthened. Leisurely summit hike to the Hochgern This hike can ideally be started after an overnight stay in the Hochgernhaus. But even after the ascent to Marquartstein and a stopover on the sun terrace, the short section to the summit is worthwhile. Whether before or after the hike, you should not miss a cool drink on the sun terrace of the Hochgernhaus. With a bit of luck you can see a few marmots on the way to the summit.
