Panoramic mountain hike in the Chiemgau Alps from Niedernfels. The demanding hiking route leads from the Hochplattenbahn valley station first over the mountain station to the summit of the Friedenrath. Then it finally goes to the Hochplatte and over the Hochplattenalm back to the mountain station. From here you can either take the mountain railway back into the valley or, as shown on this tour, hike down.
