Great hiking trail to do early morning. The sunrise is beautiful. The start is pretty flat and easy. As you cross over the dirt road to head back, it is a bit of a climb to the top of the mountain, but not for long. The view from the top, is so worth the climb. Navigation along the route can be challenging as the trails are not well-signed, having the map downloaded ahead of time can help keep you on track.

This windy, rocky and beautiful trail takes you to the southern most tip of Africa where the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean meet. The Cape Agulhas Lighthouse Museum was opened in 1994 and is the only one of its kind that is found in Africa. The museum is a wonderful historical source of not only the lighthouse but also of the old fish traps that were used hundreds of years ago by the indigenous Khoisan people, these traps are made out of stone.
