The Habichtswald Nature Park is located in the north of the Hessian Highlands. It delights visitors with its small half-timbered villages, diverse landscape and cultural and historical sights. The park was founded in 1962 and extends to the west of the city of Kassel. It is home to Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, which is internationally renowned.
