A pleasant short track that explores the area surrounding Fernhook Picnic area and Rowell's Pool in North Walpole, WA.
The route is situated in the Mount Frankland National Park and is part of the Walpole Wilderness Area. In summer, this area makes a beautiful wild swimming and picnic spot and in winter, the pool is used as a safe canoe launch for white water rafting!

The track follows undulating trails through the dense forest with opportunities to see blooming wildflowers in springtime, in wet winter months the crossing point at the Deep River could be flooded so use it with caution. If in doubt, turn back.
