The Carey Brook Walk Trail is a great introduction to overnight hiking and also for birdwatching.
Starting from Grasstree Hollow Campground you'll meander along the Carey Brook and past Snotty Gobble Loop Campground. From here you'll continue to make your way through a forest of peppermint trees to Goblin Swamp, which is named after the knotted roots and bulbous trunks of the gnarled paperbark trees.
